If to discover paradise it comes to, this municipality has four immersed Geosites valuable: Natural, Geological and Cultural that must be traveled to enjoy a contact based on physical challenges, whether walking or swimming, one of them is the National Monument Somoto Canyon located in the community of Sonis, beautiful, unique geological site with national nomination and geomorphological international relevance.
  
To learn more about this municipality another geological site to discover through walking is the Cerro Quiligüiska located in the community of Aguas Calientes, is a site with volcanic deposits outcropping in the region, on the path leading to the viewpoint are chinks of cultures based and when you are in the abyss will make you want to portray the entire site, ideal for meditation and personal contact
 
These are the Cañón Seco, and Piedras Pintadas, in which one of its walls is covered with petroglyphs and paintings that point to reasons related to fertility, agriculture, and symbols of the ancestral communities where you can appreciate an old trade route that leads between the Grand Canyon to the wall of Piedras Pintadas.

Young painter, muralist and sculptor who at 7 years old piqued his interest in working with arts in sculpture, handicraft production with calabash, clay and wood, all his works are inspired by the landscapes of his people their traditions and customs that motivated to continue creating various products like calabash dolls, seeds earrings, keychains and wooden calabash, carved small donkeys and artistic sculpture and painting murals created on the walls of the town of Somoto.
